Typhoon Rosita Latest Updates Released By PAGASA

The state weather bureau PAGASA released the latest updates about Typhoon Rosita, which finally made a landfall in Isabela.

On Tuesday (October 30, 2018), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) released the newest updates about Typhoon Rosita (Yutu).

PAGASA reported that Typhoon Rosita made a landfall in Dinapigue, Isabela carrying heavy rains and strong winds.

Typhoon Rosita has maximum sustained winds of 150 kilometers per hour (kph) and gustiness of 210 kph.

The weather agency said that Rosita would bring moderate to heavy rains over northern and central Luzon.

The weather bureau also warned the public to take precautionary measures for possible flashfloods and landslides.

The weather agency also warned the residents in the coastal areas of Isabela, Cagayan, Aurora, Ilocos Sur, Ilocos Norte, La Union, and Pangasinan of possible 3-meter storm surges.
