Racist Caucasian Lady Urges OFW & Family To Leave New Zealand, Go Back To PH
A racist Caucasian lady urges an OFW and its family to leave a coffee shop in New Zealand and to go back to the Philippines.
Racism is an act of discrimination and prejudice against other people who have different race or belief.
Recently, another Racism act happened after a Caucasian woman discriminated an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) and its family.
A Facebook user named Krizia Alexa Egipto and her family was taking a holiday in Wellington, New Zealand when a racist woman suddenly discriminated them.
The 18-year-old Krizia narrated that her dad was having a conversation with another Filipino when a woman in Night n Day Manners Street coffee shop told her to leave the establishment.
The racist woman even told them that New Zealand is for Caucasians only ordered them to go back to the country.
“Don’t come back here. You’re not welcome here. This is only for white people. This country is for white people only,” the racist woman said.
“You are a racist. We haven’t done anything to you! Naiyak na po ako. Hindi ko po mapigilan. And then the manager of the store came out and said: ‘We don’t use that language here,'” Egipto said quoted by ABS-CBN.
Luckily, two other Caucasians woman comforted Krizia and told her that they are welcome in New Zealand.
The Wellington Mayor Justin Lester also called the Filipina lady to apologize for the incident and explained that they would not tolerate racism.
