Latest Updates About Typhoon Rosita Released By PAGASA (October 29)

The state weather bureau PAGASA releases latest updates about Typhoon Rosita, which could affect the country’s weather condition.

On Monday (October 29, 2018), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported the possible track and newest updates about Typhoon Rosita.

PAGASA said that Typhoon Rosita with an international name Yutu has maximum sustained winds of 170 kilometers per hour (kph) and gustiness of up to 210 kph.

Typhoon Rosita was expected to bring very strong winds and heavy rain over northern and Central Luzon.

The weather agency also warned the residents living over the coastal areas of Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Cagayan, Isabela, and Aurora over possible storm surges.

PAGASA also advised the public to take precautionary measures for possible flashfloods and landslides.

Typhoon Rosita

Typhoon Yutu is now moving 20 kph at a west-southwest direction and expected to make a landfall over Isabela-Aurora region.

Rosita is expected to leave the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) by Wednesday (October 31, 2018).
