Updated List of Hotels & Resorts Allowed To Operate In Boracay Reopening

Here is the updated list of the hotels and resorts allowed to operate during the Boracay reopening on October 26, 2018, after rehabilitation.

On April 26, 2018, Boracay Island has been closed to the tourist to allow the Philippine government to rehabilitate and restore the island.

The popular tourist destination has been temporarily closed to the public for six months to complete the rehabilitation process.

The government was able to restore and revive the natural beauty of Boracay Island after suffering from waste pollution.

Earlier this week, the famous Boracay welcomed the residents and establishment’s employees on the soft opening of the island.

Recently, the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), and the Department of Tourism (DOT) released the updated list of hotels and resorts allowed to operate on the re-opening of Boracay.

Only 115 hotels containing a total of 5,365 rooms are only allowed to operate when Boracay Island reopens on October 26, 2018.
