Regine’s close friend Arnell Ignacio reveals the reason why she left GMA.
ARNELL IGNACIO – A close friend of the Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez, Arnell Ignacio, has revealed the reason why she left the GMA network.
It has been official, Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez is now a certified Kapamilya! It was last October 17 when she finally signed and inked the contract with her new network which will shelter her and give her future projects.
Emotional leaving the network where she stayed for around 20 years, she expressed as she bid goodbye based on a previous report, “I have stayed here for two decades. Maraming maraming salamat po sa tiwalang ibinigay niyo sa akin and for taking good care of me.”
And her future projects with ABS-CBN are singing the theme song the upcoming series “The General’s Daughter“, the much-anticipated Christmas station ID of ABS-CBN, appearance in ASAP, a sitcom, and singing show “Idol Philippines”.
With all the speculations stirring about her reason leaving the Kapuso network, her friend, Arnell Ignacio, triggered by the negative comments about her decision to change network, expressed in a post.

Yung mga bumabatikos kay regine na ang sasakit nang sinasabi pero walang nalalaman sa kalakaran ng entertainment e ang sasarap niyong pagsasampalin. Saan mo ba lalagay si regine sa programa ng 7 sige nga? Saan mo siya pakakantahin na programa ng 7? Ano naman yung comment ng “paiyak iyak pa i see the peso sign”? Sarap mo dagukan. Ano ba sa tingin niyo si regine welfare officer? Trabaho niya kumanta at may bayad yun natural. Kung malaki ibabayad sa kanya ano nakakapagtaka run. E si regine velasquez yan.
Triggered with all the negative comments read about Regine, he was not able to keep still in silence. He also apologized to Ogie Alcasid because of this.
