LTFRB Approves the Bus Fare Increase of P1 in Base Fare of Commuter Buses
BUS FARE – The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) approved the P1 increase in the base fare of commuter buses.
Undeniably, the prices of goods, transportation fees, and other basic expenses in the Philippines continue to increase. The high inflation rate prompts calls from netizens of a possible solution to the problem.
Recently, another thing is expected to take effect starting the next 15 days – the increase in bus fare.
Based on a recent social media post of The Philippine Star on its Twitter account, the LTFRB has approved the P1 increase in base fare of commuter buses.
The said grant is expected to take effect 15 days after the publication of the transport agency’s decision on the matter.
