Rochelle Barrameda Runs Councilor in Parañaque City, Dedicates Candidacy To Sister Ruby Rose
ROCHELLE BARRAMEDA – Actress Rochelle Barrameda dedicates her candidacy as a councilor in Parañaque City to the death of her sister Ruby Rose.
Actress Rochelle Barrameda starred on the movie titled Ate with Ara Mina and Cristine Reyes.
She’s also on the movie Bituin (2002), Ipaglaban mo (2014) and Best Friends (1995). The actress can still be seen on our televisions featured on several programs.
Rochelle currently ventures another side of herself.
Based on a report on Kami, citing Pep, she recently decided to run as a District 1 Councilor in Parañaque City this coming 2019 Election.
She is running under the Lakas-CMD partylist which is also the party-list of actor Dominic Ochoa who runs for the same position in another district.
According to the report, one of her main reasons in joining politics is to find justice for the death of her sister who died last March 2007.
It’s been 11 years since the incident and until now she is still fighting for her justice.
Her sister, Ruby Rose, was found dead inside a drum after going missing for two years during the hearings for the custody of her children with Manuel “Third” Jimenez III.
Rochelle expressed that everyone knows about her advocacy benefiting the women and children is personal.
Based on the report, she also stated that it wasn’t really her plan to join the politics but then came a new challenge for her.
“For more than 11 years, nandito pa rin ako na lumalaban na makamit ng kapatid ko ang hustisya na matagal na po naming inaasam,” Rochelle said.
