Regine Velasquez’s network transfer to ABS-CBN, is a gain for younger singers in GMA, according to Lolit Solis.
Lolit Solis said now that Regine Velasquez is in Channel 2 or ABS-CBN, other or younger singers in Channel 7 or GMA will be given a chance to shine.
The network transfer of the Asia’s Songbird from Kapuso to Kapamilya has created a loud buzz.
It was one of the hot topics on social media and showbiz news sites from the time when it was just a speculation until it was confirmed.
Regine as a Kapamilya is finally sealed as she is signing a contract with ABS-CBN on October 17.
Many celebrities from the Kapamilya network expressed their excitement in seeing the Songbird in ABS-CBN.
Lolit Solis, as an entertainment columnist and a talent manager as well, expressed her views also regarding the network transfer of Regine Velasquez.
On her recent Instagram post, she said that when a stars switch network, it does not mean that they are not contented.
“Hindi rin ibig sabihin meron silang hindi gusto,” she added.
Lolit also likened this decision to a person moving from an old house to a new one.
“Para lang iyan paghahanap ng bahay, pag nakita mo mas maayos at sakto ang presyo sa iyo, lilipat ka kahit sanay ka na at gusto mo rin iyon luma mong bahay. Tapos pag nandun ka na sa nilipatan mo either may makita kang palpak o ma-feel mo mas maganda sa dati mong bahay,” the columnist said.
She also saw this opportunity for younger singers to shine. Lolit pointed out that if Regine is in GMA, she is the top priority and the rest are just on the second and third level.
Since the Asia’s Songbird already transferred to ABS-CBN, then it will give a chance to younger singers to be on the first layer, according to Lolit Solis.
