FULLIDO CASE – The accused Cheryl Favila and Maricar Asprec has released their statement to end media war after Gretchen Fullido filed criminal charges.

In a previous report, Fullido accused the two TV network executives of sending her text messages with “sexual innuendos” loaded with “sexual favors”. Thus, malicious text messages have recently surfaced online from Fullido’s camp.

However, Favila filed a counter-complaint to this showing the full context of their conversation including messages from years ago as Gretchen has stated that this has been going on for three years already which made it hard for her to work as a reporter when she rejected their advances.

Ogie Diaz believed Gretchen but when the full phone conversation has been released to the public, the netizens started to doubt the female reporter. Jay Sonza even reacted to this controversial matter revealing something about the network. Meanwhile, Kapamilya actor Marco Gumabao said about his cousin’s issue, “Well, I don’t want to talk to her about the issue because I don’t want to stress her out. Ayokong magmukhang tsismoso lang na nakikitsismis lang.”

And now, as some people have started to doubt the female anchor, the accused TV executives have released their statement appealing to end the media war.

“For Gretchen to bring the matter public, which was already resolved internally causing me to loss my livelihood, is a malicious misinterpretation of the very real issue of sexual harassment. We had no choice but to release documents from our side to minimize the damage to our integrity and reputation,” a paragraph from their statement read.
