Marco Gumabao speaks up about cousin Gretchen Fullido ‘s case
Actor Marco Gumabao breaks his silence on the issue concerning his cousin reporter Gretchen Fullido.
Gretchen created a buzz on mainstream and social media when she filed a sexual harassment case against ABS-CBN executives Cheryl Favila and Maricar Asprec.
The case has caught the attention of many netizens and celebrities as well. Many showed sympathy to Gretchen.
When the entertainment reporter released the text messages she received from Favila with “sexual innuendos”, the camp of the accused also released a counter attack.
With this, several netizens started to take the side of Favila.
Regarding this issue, Marco Gumabao, as the cousin of Gretchen Fullido, also expressed his thoughts.
Based on the article published in PEP, the actor does not want to look like a “tsismoso”.
“Well, I don’t want to talk to her about the issue because I don’t want to stress her out. Ayokong magmukhang tsismoso lang na nakikitsismis lang,” Marco said.
He chooses not to comment regarding the case. However, there is one thing that the actor is sure of.
“Basta I’m here for her, I’m here to support her, and kung may kailangan siya sa akin, nandito lang ako para sa kanya,” Marco Gumabao stressed out.
When asked if their whole clan is ready to support Gretchen Fullido in this battle, Marco answered with affirmation.

Meanwhile, Marco confirmed that he is still a Kapamilya. He pointed out that he never said that he will transfer to the Kapuso network.
Rumors about his network transfer started to circulate when he was spotted in GMA show’s trailer.
“Never akong nagsabi na lilipat ako ng Seven, it’s just that lumipat ako ng Viva. Lumipat ako ng Viva, which is neutral, you can go both ABS and GMA,” he clarified.
