Class Suspensions On Tuesday (October 15, 2018)

The local government unit of Albay has declared class suspensions in the province due to the anticipated mass transport strike.

Albay Gov. Al Francis Bichara announced the cancellation of classes in the province on Tuesday (October 16, 2018) due to the expected transport strike.

Bichara ordered class suspensions in both public and private schools in the area after Condor Piston Bicol group announced to conduct a transport strike tomorrow.

“The Condor Piston Bicol had announced their collective decisions of holding a mass transport strike tomorrow,” Bichara said quoted by Inquirer.

The governor is also the chairman of the Albay’s Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC).

The politician explained that the expected mass transport strike prompted PDRRMC to announce the suspensions of classes at all levels.
