Vice Ganda ‘s “rudeness” to Harry Roque criticized by netizens

Several netizens criticized Vice Ganda for his “rude” treatment to Harry Roque, who is now on indefinite leave as the Presidential Spokesperson.

Vice had an interview with the appointed public official on his Sunday late night talk show, Gandang Gabi Vice.

On the YouTube video of the said GGV episode, several netizens noticed the difference on how the host threw the questions to Roque.

Several of the netizens who commented said that Vice Ganda was rude to the Spokesperson.

There were questions asked about the President and the current situation in the country.

Previously, Vice Ganda expressed his views about certain issues in the country, such as Trillanes’ amnesty revocation, and Sotto’s desire to revise Lupang Hinirang.

Roque gamely answered whatever question Vice asked him. He was even laughing and smiling while answering the questions.

On the other hand, netizens had a different reaction.

One netizen said that the Kapamilya host showed his rude side.

I found this Host and this show so rude here. This is an entertainment show and NOT a commentary I supposed? but his throw of questions are off(and the facial expression). Fame and money could make one think highly of themselves but it doesn’t mean you have the right to disrespect people to insinuate your belief and perspective. Atty. Roque tried to answer lightly, well respected and intelligent man indeed who has proven expertise in his field and long standing contributions in the society.

There was one who said that he got dismayed because of how Vice Ganda interviewed Harry Roque.
