Rallyists gathered in front of Bong Revilla, Lani Mercado’s house
A group of rallyists unexpectedly shouted protest in front of Senator Bong Revilla and Bacoor City Mayor Lani Mercado‘s house.
The incident happened during the first day of filing of certificate of candidacy (COC).
From October 11 to 17, Comelec started to accept COC all over the Philippines for 2019 elections.
In line with this, Lani Mercado is also expected to file her COC for Bacoor City Mayor.
On the other hand, before she even filed her COC, a problem already occurred.
Based on the article published in Bandera, a group of people protesting for Lani to be the Mayor again of Bacoor gathered in front of their house.
According to the rallyists, they want Congressman Strike Revilla to be the elected Mayor next election.
Strike is the brother of Bong Revilla. It was said that the people were shouting against Lani.
The Revilla family were shocked that rallyists suddenly gathered in front of their house.
Reportedly, there is no conflict happening between Lani and Strike. It is clear to everyone in their family that Strike is seeking for re-election as Representative while Lani will run again as the Mayor of Bacoor.
Based on the article, it could not be possible that the two of them will run for the same position in the government.
The report also said that Strike and Lani will not give Senator Bong Revilla a problem regarding this.
Meanwhile, when the group of rallyists were asked why they gathered in front of Revilla’s house, no one can answer.
It was also said that they were just told to go their and shout that Congressman Strike should be the Mayor.
Based on the article, the rallyists were commanded to shout that they don’t want Bong Revilla’s wife to be the Mayor of Bacoor once again .
