Aga Muhlach Chooses To Believe in the Capacity of Direk Paul Soriano Amid Negative Comments
PAUL SORIANO – Award-winning director Paul Soriano reacted to the statement of actor Aga Muhlach about him.
Former matinee idol Aga Muhlach is now back on his acting career after quite a long time of showbiz hiatus. After the movie Seven Sundays, the actor did another project and this time with Director Paul Soriano.
Paul, the husband of actress-singer Toni Gonzaga, is undeniably one of the excellent filmmakers that the industry has now. He was awarded as the “Best Director” during the Metro Manila Film Festival 2017 for his movie Siargao.
Paul Soriano and Aga Muhlach recently worked together on a movie entitled First Love. Aga is top-billed the movie with actress Bea Alonzo. It is their first time to work together.

At the event with the media, Aga Muhlach admitted that he did hear negative comments about Direk Paul Soriano as a filmmaker. Meanwhile, according to him, he chose to believe in Paul’s capacity.
Based on the report, Aga also admitted that he was very happy when Siargao got several awards in the MMFF 2017.

With regards to the statement of Aga Muhlach, Direk Paul Soriano expressed that it is emotional for him to hear it considering that the actor has worked with “all the great actors, great directors”.
The filmmaker added that for Aga to say that is a reassurance that he is doing something right, he belongs, and there are those who believe in him.
“No matter how many people doubt you… It just takes one person. And thank you, Aga, for believing in me,” he said.
Based on the report, Direk Paul Soriano also expressed that he also believes in Aga Muhlach. He credited the 49-year-old actor as the reason why the film was made. It is set to be shown in cinemas on October 17.
