Baby Patient Dies After Neglected By Hospital Staff In Negros Occidental
A baby patient died after neglected by a hospital staff in Negros Occidental for failing to present PhilHealth or ‘nochip’.
The hospital is a medical institution that provides an immediate medical health treatment and to save the lives of critical patients.
The hospital staff was also tasked to take care and help their patients to acquire their optimum health no matter what happens.
Recently, a Facebook user named Rubelie Bantolio Valenia has shared how her niece who died after neglected by a hospital staff.
Valenia narrated that the sick baby was rushed to a health center in Negros Occidental but was transferred to Valladolid hospital.
The hospital nurse first asked the parents of the baby if they have PhilHealth or ‘nochip’ before giving an immediate health care.
The parents replied that they don’t have either of the two so the hospital staff refused to treat the baby and told them to proceed to OPD.
The complainant also revealed that the hospital staff was answering the baby’s parents arrogantly while asking for the medical doctor.
The helpless parents decided to go home and give Tempra to stabilize the fever of the baby.
After a few moments, the parents notice that the baby was not moving or breathing anymore so he was rushed to the hospital.
Unfortunately, baby Kheron Bantolio has been declared by hospital staff dead on arrival.
