The Arellano University in Manila has declared class suspensions in all levels due to the oil spill incident in front of the school.

On Saturday (October 6, 2018), the classes in Arellano University, Manila have been canceled upon the recommendation MDRRMO and the Bureau of Fire Protection due to the oil spill near the university.

Manila City Mayor Joseph Estrada announced the suspension of classes and al school activities to ensure the safety of the students.

The authorities are already cleaning the oil spill near Arellano University for the immediate resumption of the school operation.

Mayor Estrada also advised the motorists to avoid passing along Arellano University in Legarda for their own safety.

“PUBLIC ADVISORY. All school activities scheduled for today at Arellano University, Manila have been CANCELLED based upon recommendations of the MDRRMO and the Bureau of Fire Protection, following the OIL SPILL that occured in front of the school and which is currently being cleaned up by concerned authorities and agencies. Please pass this message along for the information of all concerned. Thank you.”
