PAGASA THUNDERSTORM UPDATE – The PAGASA releases and issues the latest thunderstorm advisory in the following areas for October 2.
The state weather bureau Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) issued a thunderstorm advisory.
This is to prepare the public to know, be prepared, and aware of the possible hazard that this occurrence might bring.
The weather agency announced heavy rain showers wilth ightning and strong winds within 2 hours over (1) Tarlac, (2) Pampanga, (3) Nueva Ecija, (4) Laguna, and (5) Quezon.
On the other hand, the said weather condition is now being experienced in:
Metro Manila (Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas, Valenzuela, QuezonCity, Pasig)
Zambales (Iba, PoonBato, Palauig)
Rizal (Angono, Taytay, Cainta)
Bataan (Morong, Mariveles)
Cavite (Tagaytay, Silang)
Batangas (Tiaong, SanAntonio, Balayan, Calaca, Tuy, Lemery, Laurel)
Bulacan
As per the post, “all are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards which include flash floods and landslides.”
