Maynilad Water Services Inc. Announces Price Hike Starting 1st of October 2018
Maynilad Water Services Inc. announced an increase in the price of monthly water bill starting on the month of October 2018.
Nowadays, the increasing prices of basic commodities and necessities have been the major concern of the Filipino people.
The uncontrollable inflation is now contributing to the burden of the minimum wage earner Filipino employees and even those middle-class people.
Recently, Maynilad announced price hike prompting their customers to pay more than their usual monthly bill.
The water service company will start the price increase on the first day of October 2018, which might be also an effect of the inflation.
Maynilad would add these following amounts per monthly bill.
- 66/monthly bill – Customer consuming 10 cubic meters per month
- 73/monthly bill – Customer consuming 20 cubic meters per month
- 10/monthly bill – Customer consuming 30 cubic meters per month
