Ex-senator Bong Revilla has a tendency to run again for Senate this coming 2019 election – Pichay

BONG REVILLA – Representative Prospero Pichay Jr. expressed that former Senator Bong Revilla has a tendency to run again for 2019 Senate Election.

Former Senator Bong Revilla, Juan Ponce Enrile, and Jinggoy Estrada are involved on the plunder case for the multi-million pork barrel scam. Enrile and Estrada were released but this year marks Revilla’s 4th year of being detained.

Despite it, there is a possibility that the former Senator might run on the upcoming Senate election. Based on a report on GMA News Online, his final decision will be announced next week.

Former Sen. Bong Revilla should be decided on the celebration of his birthday and after consulting his family about Rep. Prospero Pichay Jr.’s persuasion.

An interview was made last September 21 on Dobol B sa News TV, Prospero Pichay, Revilla’s party-mate, and some of Lakas CMD members went to Camp Crame to convince him to run again for 2019 election.

Bong Revilla ranks on the 7th position according to their private survey. Pichay’s confidence for him never falls off even though he is still detained.

“With the help of his supporters is a possible victory… We still consider him a very important part of the party,” Rep. Prospero Pichay said based on the report.

Furthermore, Pichay also stated that Bong Revilla’s number 7th spot in their private survey has a chance of increasing if ever he declares to run.

On the part of the former Senator, he is considering all the dilemma they could be facing during the campaign.

Meanwhile, regardless of his situation, the Lakas CMD members and Pichay responded that there are a lot of family members, friends, supporters and party members who can help him with his campaign.
