People Not In Favor of Revising the Lupang Hinirang Earns Message from Sen. Sotto
SOTTO – Senator Vicente Tito Sotto III took to the social media a message for those who are against the revising of the Philippine National Anthem, Lupang Hinirang.
One of the trending topics on social media platforms is the plan of Senate President Tito Sotto. The Senator is thinking about proposing for the revision of the Philippine national anthem, Lupang Hinirang.
According to Sen. Sotto, he wants to give it a more optimistic meaning. From “ang mamatay nang dahil sa ‘yo”, the head of the Senate wants to change the last line to, “ang ipaglaban kalayaan mo.”
Although he is just still thinking about proposing for the revising of Lupang Hinirang, Sen. Tito Sotto’s idea instantly became the talk on social media platforms. Lots of netizens reacted to the matter.

Recently, on his social media account, Sen. Tito Sotto posted a message for those people who are against revising Lupang Hinirang. According to him, many have a poor understanding.
The Senate President stressed that the people are entitled to what they want but, as for him, he will support the version of singer-songwriter Joel Ayala in singing the national anthem.
