Oldest Pine Tree Collapsed During Landslide In Baguio
The video footage of the oldest pine tree that suddenly collapsed during a landslide in Baguio goes viral after it was posted on the social media.
Baguio is very popular across the country because of its cool weather, which is a perfect place for vacation and relaxation.
The City of Baguio is nicknamed “The City of Pines” for having a large stand of numerous Pine trees in the area.
Recently, the Facebook page “Batang Pinoy – Ngayon at Noon” has uploaded the video footage showing the oldest Pine tree in Baguio that collapsed during a landslide.
In the video, it can be seen that the two-century-long pine tree is being swept away by a landslide due to the torrential rains and flooding brought by Typhoon Ompong.
The pine tree was estimated to be more than 200 years old and dubbed as one of the oldest in Baguio.
