Fil-Am Hannahlei Cabanilla wins in the Season 15 of ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ 

Filipina-American dancer Hannahlei Cabanilla was hailed as the winner in ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ Season 15.

She emerged as the winner against three other finalists of the dance competition.  Hannahlei overpowered the dancing abilities of Jensen Arnold, Genessy Castillo, and Slavik Pustovoytov.

Based on the article published in PEP, Hannahlei and Jensen had the closest difference in total votes.

During the announcing of this season’s winner of ‘SYTYCD‘, the Fil-Am dancer was apparently nervous. However, when her name was called out she could nor help but to cry with overwhelming joy.

The crowd and her fellow finalists also joined in celebrating her achievement as the Season 15 winner.

As the winner of ‘So You Think You Can Dance‘ Season 15, Hannahlei Cabanilla will received these prizes.

  • a magazine cover
  • a role in Fox’s upcoming live broadcast of the Tony-winning musical Rent

The musical is set to take place on January 27, 2019.

Based on the article, the Fil-Am dancer is from Anaheim Hills. Actress-singer Vanessa Hudgens acknowledged Hannahlei as her fellow Pinoy.

The ‘SYTYCD’ judge praised Hannahlei during the first performance of the season’s Top 10.

Aside from Vanessa, judge Nigel Lythgoe also commended the Fil-Am dancer.  He tagged her as the “warrior princess” of the recently-concluded season.
