Megastar Sharon Cuneta will always be associated with politics but chose not to react about Senator Antonio Trillanes‘ case.

She is the wife of Senator Francis ‘Kiko’ Pangilinan and a daughter of former Pasay City Mayor. Aside from this, her brother recently declared his political plans for the next elections.

Whether she likes it or not, her life has an attachment in the world of politics.

Despite of this connection, Mega chooses to be silent when it comes to her political views. Her husband is a known ally of Trillanes whose amnesty is on the verge of revocation.

During the previous administration of former President Benigno Aquino III, the Senator who was accused of mutiny received his amnesty. On the other hand, the lawmaker who is one of the known critics of the administration of President Rodrigo Duterte might go back to jail.

Kiko Pangilinan supports Trillanes in his fight. However, it is known to many that his wife has a good relationship with the present Chief Executive. Sharon visited Duterte during his birthday and she even shared how happy she was to spend that day with him.

She is also the favorite actress of Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte. With this, Sharon is likened to a dog whose mouth is covered in order not to speak anything.

The actress-singer is seemed to be trapped between colliding stones but she has no right to react.

Mega is known to be an “apolitical” person. She does not indulge herself in the matters of politics despite of her strong political background.
