LOVI POE – The Kapuso actress Lovi Poe has described Senator Grace Poe as a sister aside from having a brooding and serious reputation as a politician.
The Kapuso actress Lovi Poe is the daughter of the late Fernando Poe Jr., called “Da King of Philippine movies” and former actress and beauty queen Rowena Moran.
Moran and FPJ have worked together in films such as Isang Dakot na Bigas and Kapag Puno na ang Salop.
She is one of the women who were able to capture Da King’s heart.

Meanwhile, Senator Grace Poe is the adopted daughter of actors Susan Roces and FPJ. There had been some issue about her nationality but the Supreme Court has deemed her as a natural-born Filipino citizen.
And recently, the senator has celebrated her birthday and the sisters Lovi and Grace definitely rocked the night away.
Grace’s birthday celebration was held at Whitespace Manila in Makati City on Monday.
Present at the party were her mother, veteran actress Susan Roces; her husband, Neil Llamanzares, and their children, Brian, Hanna and Nikka, and some personalities from the Senate and entertainment industry.
And Lovi, during her speech has described her sister, “While to everyone else she may be Senator Grace, but to me, she is Ate Grace, my sister.”
According to a report from the Inquirer, Grace was grateful to the people who were there.
“It’s really tricky to thank all the people that you should thank in the 50 years of your life, but it’s even trickier to admit that you’re 50, but anyway, here we are today. Think of five decades, that’s a lot of days and a lot of hours and you are here today because you are part of my 50 years,” she said.
And for Lovi, she expressed, “Thank you so much. You know Lovi . . . I was really touched when she cried after noticing that I have lost a lot of weight during the [presidential] campaign . . . I’d like to tell you that I was happy when I lost that much weight.”
