Netizens react to statements of Willie Revillame during an event.
WILLIE REVILLAME – The prominent Kapuso host Willie Revillame has received comments following his statements during a star-studded event.
One of the top-earners of the country from our local celebrities is the male host Willie Revillame who is currently under the Kapuso network. Initially, he is with the Kapamilya network where he became successful as a host.
However, due to some reasons, he transferred network to TV5 and eventually finding his way to GMA.
But recently, during the birthday celebration of Direk Bobot Mortiz held at Wil Tower, he had these statements which caught the attention of the netizens.
In a video uploaded and shared on YouTube, the event was star-studded with artists coming from various television networks.
Present in the event is Vhong Navarro, Tirso Cruz III, and Ogie Alcasid.
But his remarks towards these stars have made netizens react for even though it was just accordingly a joke, the statements are quite personal and offensive.
He called Tirso while trying to remember a film but someone shouted “Wildflower” which he rebutted saying, “Hindi, anong Wildflower tang*, kalaban ko yun eh. Wildflower wala na yun bago na, Meteor Garden na tumapat sakin eh.”
Moreover, he called Vhong while saying, “Halikayo dito. Bakit ang yabang-yabang niyo sa Showtime tas ngayon tahimik kayo.”
Everyone was laughing at his remarks but there was a certain tension building up among them.
Also, when he was plainly asked about switching networks, he answered, “Eh, malaki budget eh. Malaki magbayad ang GMA.”
