Actress Lilet Esteban clarifies issues from the past.
LILET ESTEBAN – The 90’s icon Lilet Esteban finally breaks silence over controversial issues she had encountered from the past.
The ’80 singer-actress Lilet or Maria Luz Lilet Jodloman-Esteban is now being active in show business. She is already 44 years old.
She was then known as the singing sweetheart while she was in That’s Entertainment.
Among the popular songs she sang were “Lonely Girl”, “Tulak Ng Bibig, Kabig Ng Dibdib”, “Kaibigan Lang Pala”, “Kahit Bata Pa”, “Kay Palad Mo”, “Kahit Minsan Lang”, and “This Song’s Dedicated To You”.

It was in 2015 when she returned in show business appearing in shows such as Forevermore, Langit Lupa, and A Love To Last.
But according to a report from PEP, it was just recently when the actress shed light to all the controversial issues thrown at her from the past.
After 30 years, she addressed the issue about getting pregnant at a young age and hid in Japan.
“Yung tungkol sa buntis issue at pagiging Japayuki ko raw, it started when I had the chance to visit my sister who got married and lives in Japan. When I was there, tinanong niya ako kung gusto ko bang mag-aral doon.”

She added in the report, “Kaya when I was interviewed sa ABS-CBN when I was part of the teleserye Forevemore, they asked kung ilang taon na ang anak ko. That time, my daughter Elle was just six years old. Nagulat sila kasi ang alam nila, much older daw ang anak ko, and really thought na nanganak ako sa Japan noon.”
Lilet also shared that she tied the knot with Jay Esteban on 2008 and got pregnant that same year.
Now, their daughter is 10 years old.
