Hidilyn Diaz, the Filipina weightlifter finally won the first gold medal of the Philippines during the ASIAN Games 2018.
The Pinay athlete successfully lifted 92 kgs in the snatch and 115 in the clean and jerk enabling her to secure the top spot in the women’s 53 kg event.
Recently, a Facebook user named Jovit Labayo Jeniebre has uploaded the video clip of winning performance of Hidilyn Diaz on the social media.
In the video, it can be seen that the 27-year-old weightlifter was courageously walking into the stage for her performance.
After a few moments, Diaz started to lift the weights successfully prompting her to win the gold medal from the event.
The social media users have also expressed their admiration for the dedication of the Pinay weightlifter just to win the event.
