Heavy Rainfall Warning Over Parts of PH Released By PAGASA

The state weather bureau PAGASA has issued a heavy rainfall warning over some parts of the country to inform the affected resident about the current weather condition.

On Monday (August 20, 2018), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) issued a heavy rainfall warning in several areas.

The weather agency has raised an orange rainfall warning over Zambales, which expects an intense rainfall within the next few hours.

Heavy Rainfall Warning

An orange warning indicates that floods in low-lying and river channel areas are possible due to 15 to 30mm rain per hour.

PAGASA has also raised a yellow rainfall warning over Bataan expecting a possible heavy rain in the area.

Yellow warning signified that possible floods in river-bank and low lying areas are expected due to 7.5 to 15 mm of rain per hour.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila, Bulacan, Pampanga, Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Laguna, Cavite, and Batangas would experience light to moderate rain.
