Heavy Rainfall Warning In The Following Areas, PAGASA Says
The state weather bureau PAGASA has raised a heavy rainfall warning in the following areas advising the residents to take precautionary measures.
On Saturday (August 18, 2018), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) issued a heavy rainfall warning over some parts of the country.
PAGASA raised a yellow rainfall warning over Bagac and Mariveles in Bataan; Ternate, Maragondon, Naic, and Tanza in Cavite; and Nasugbu, Lian, Calatagan, Balayan, and Tuy in Batangas.
The weather agency warned the residents living in the affected areas to take precautionary measures for possible flashfloods and landslides.
The yellow rainfall warning has been raised in the following areas after heavy rainfall measuring 7.5 mm to 15 mm was seen.
Meanwhile, light to moderate rains is expected over San Antonio and Subic in Zambales.
Metro Manila, Zambales, Bataan, Cavite, and Batangas were also expected to experience light to moderate rains.
