Ang Probinsyano released a press statement following controversial photos of Team Dantes.
ANG PROBINSYANO – The “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” apologized to Dingdong Dantes following controversial photos used for the show without the owner’s consent.
Coco Martin’s top-rating primetime show “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” has been recently called after using the photos of Team Dantes which is accordingly unethical as claims of the fans based on a previous article.
The photos that have been used in two separate episode were the wedding photo of Marian and Dingdong and the Team Dantes‘ family photo during their daughter’s baptism.
This controversy has caught the attention of Dingdong Dantes, the patriarch of the prominent family, which made a move and sent a formal letter to the production team of the show regarding the claims.

An excerpt from the letter read: “I appreciate that you found artistic inspiration from the original photos. Unfortunately, there is the inescapable consequence that legal and moral rights were violated here. And as you may very well be aware of, established industry practice is against such act as it amounts to disrespect.”
Thus, with this stirring issue, the show of the Kapamilya network has responded and apologized to the Kapuso actor after the letter has been sent.

As per ABS-CBN social media newsroom, the show “assures that there was no intent to disrespect or offend him and his family in the use of their photos in the program.”
Moreover from the statement, “The production team commissioned a third-party contractor to create the photo props used in the program. It was not aware that the original of the photographs used were those from Mr. Dantes’ wedding and the baptism of his daughter. The program is conducting further investigation to prevent a similar incident from happening in the future.”
