Latest Weather Update On Bagyong Karding On August 8, 2018, Released By PAGASA
The state weather bureau PAGASA has released the latest weather update about Bagyong Karding affecting the country’s weather system.
On Wednesday (August 08, 2018), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) released the latest weather update in the country.
PAGASA reported that Tropical Depression Karding keeps its strength and barely moving around 1,160 kilometers east of Calayan, Cagayan.
Karding has maximum sustain winds of 55 kilometers per hour (kph) and gustiness of up to 65 kph.
The weather agency also that Karding could enhance the southwest monsoon although it was not expected to make a landfall.
The enhanced “Habagat” would bring rain over Northern and Central Luzon.
The residents living in low-lying and mountainous areas were advised to take precautionary measures for possible flashfloods and landslides due to rains.
Meanwhile, the weather bureau also warned the fisher folks of Central and Southern Luzon that sea travel remains risky due to rough coastal water.
