Southwest Monsoon To Affect Most Parts Of The Philippines, PAGASA Says

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the southwest monsoon would affect the most parts of the country.

On Saturday (August 04, 2018), the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) released the latest weather updates in the country.

PAGASA reported that the southwest monsoon would still affect the weather condition over most parts of the Philippines.

Habagat would bring scattered rains and thunderstorms over Mimaropa, Western Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, and ARMM.

The weather disturbance would bring isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila, Calabarzon, Bicol region, and the rest of the country.

The weather agency also advised the resident in the affected areas to take precautionary measures for possible flashfloods and landslides due to monsoon rains.

Another low-pressure area was spotted at 1,495 km. east of northern Luzon.but not expected to enter the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR).
