  • Visit https://www.google.com/android/find and open the “Find My Device” site.
  • Enter the email address and password of the Android device you want to block.
  • Select the icon of your phone located on the left side of the page
  • Click “Lock” on the left side
  • Enter a temporary password in the “New password” and “Confirm password” text fields if the Android device doesn’t have a lock screen password.
  • Click the green button “Lock” at the bottom of the page making it impossible for others to access your personal information
  • Erase Android if necessary by clicking the “Erase” tab and just follow the instructions rather than losing your data to an unidentified thief.

  • Visit https://www.icloud.com/ and open the “Find My Device” site.
  • Enter the Apple email address and password to log into iCloud
  • Click “ “ then “Find iPhone” on the iCloud dashboard.

  • Wait for the location of your iPhone to appear at the upper-right side of the page.
  • Click “Next”, which is located at the top-right corner of the window
  • Click “Done” to place your iPhone device in Lost Mode, you can deactivate it by clicking “Stop Lost Mode”
  • Erase iPhone if necessary by clicking “Erase iPhone” then enter your Apple ID password rather than losing your personal information to an unknown person.
