PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update On Friday (August 3)

The state weather bureau PAGASA has released the latest weather update to let the Filipino people know the weather condition in the country.

On Friday (August 03, 2018), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) released the recent weather update in the country.

PAGASA reported that most parts of the Philippines was expected to experience rains due to the southwest monsoon or locally known as “Habagat”.

The weather agency announced that Palawan, Mindoro, Romblon, Western Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula and ARMM would have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms.

Metro Manila, Marinduque, Calabarzon, Bicol Region and the rest of the country are expected to experience isolated rains or thunderstorms.

The weather bureau has also advised the resident living in the affected areas to take precautionary measures for possible flashfloods and landslides due to occasionally heavy rains

As of this writing, PAGASA does not expect any tropical cyclone or low-pressure to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).
