Kris Aquino announces that she will fly to Hollywood for the premiere of ‘Crazy Rich Asians’
Social media queen Kris Aquino confirmed through her recent Instagram post that she will be walking on the Hollywood red carpet for ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ premiere.
Previously, the actress-host shared that she got an invitation for the said prestigious event. However, her health condition somehow hindered her affirmation to attend.
Though there were those who mocked Kris for her small role in the movie, she managed to defend the importance of her appearance for the Filipino people.

Prior to her confirmation that she will be on the red carpet premiere, the Queen of all Media suffered from allergy attack in Indonesia while she was shooting for her endorsement for the herbal medical company.
She needed to be rushed home for her serious health condition and because of that she had to rest for several days.

Despite of what happened, Kris still hoped to be in the red carpet premiere of the movie based from the book of Kevin Kwan.

She revealed on her August 1 Instagram post that her “tigas ulo/bawal sumuko/kakayanin lahat” managed to find ways in order for her to attend ‘ Crazy Rich Asians’ Hollywood premiere.
Kris will be flying to the US with her sons, her team and of course her doctor to monitor her health.
The actress-host said that she could not allow that there will be no one who will represent the Filipinos during the ground breaking all-Asian cast movie.
“Hangarin ng puso ko na mabitbit ang bandila ng Pilipinas in a movie highlighting Asian Culture. YES, let us always remember & uphold: WE FILIPINOS ARE WORLD CLASS!” she wrote.
