Khalid Al Ameri Reveals Side on Sondos Alqattan’s Controversial Statement
KHALID AL AMERI – Emirati social media star Khalid Al Ameri reacted to the controversial statement of Kuwaiti social media celebrity Sondos Alqattan on the day-off grant for overseas Filipino workers (OFW).
Lots of Filipinos are working abroad to be able to give a comfortable life to their family. These OFWs are going through intense longing to see their loved ones so they can provide food, shelter, and education to them.
However, it is no secret to anyone that the OFWs are not only dealing with longing for their loved ones’ presence but as well as risks. Some undeniably arrived at undesirable situations. There are previous claims that their passports are taken away from them.
Meanwhile, currently, in Kuwait, a new law allows the OFWs to keep their passports and to have a day-off. However, based on a report, one Kuwaiti social media star, Sondos Alqattan, is not in favor of it.
Sondos Alqattan raised a question on who will refund her in case the OFW would run away and go back to their home country since they have one day-off per week. The Kuwaiti online star stressed that she no longer wants a Filipino helper.
Khalid Al Ameri, a social media star from Abu Dhabi, reacted to the remarks of the Kuwaiti online celebrity on the day-off grant to OFWs. He raised a quest about how one would feel working for somebody who does not agree that he or she must have a day-off.
Khalid Al Ameri stressed that almost every job in the world offers a rest day. He also emphasized that workers are not robots but humans who need a day to go out and enjoy life. Here is the video of the Emirati social media star:
