Bato dela Rosa Running For Governor of Davao del Sur

Former Philippine National Police (PNP) chief and now BuCor Director Ronald ‘Bato’ dela Rosa is now running for Davao del Sur Governor.

Dela Rosa who is ow serving as the director of Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) has reportedly transferred his voter’s registration to Sta. Cruz town in Davao del Sur.

The BuCor director explained that his latest move was a part of President Duterte’s instruction to him to run as governor of the province.

“That is in preparation for the 2019 elections because the last instruction given to me by the President is for me to run as governor of Davao del Sur,” Dela Rosa said quoted by Philstar.

The ex-PNP chief revealed that he wanted to run as Philippine Senator, but he entrusts his fate to the decision of President Duterte.

Dela Rosa also said that he is willing to give up his political plans if Mr. Duterte would ask him to do so.

Pulse Asia’s latest survey also shows that Bato dela Rosa is one of the probable winners of 2019 senatorial elections.
