Joshua Garcia Narrates How He Auditioned for Pinoy Big Brother
JOSHUA GARCIA – Former Pinoy Big Brother housemate Joshua Garcia revealed how ABS-CBN Television Production Head Director Laurenti Dyogi discovered him.
Undeniably, young Kapamilya actor Joshua Garcia is one of the most prominent and successful actors of his generation. He has done lots of hit movies with his loveteam partner Julia Barretto.
Joshua and Julia starred in the movies Vince And Kath And James, Love You To The Stars And Back, and Unexpectedly Yours. Based on a report, they are also top-billing the new film I Love You, Hater with actress Kris Aquino. It is the comeback movie of the Queen of All Media.
Joshua Garcia rose to fame when he became one of the housemates of the ABS-CBN reality show Pinoy Big Brother in 2014. He was tagged as the Tatay’s Boy ng Batangas.
Based on a recent report on Philippines’ Ultimate Showbiz Hub (PUSH), during his appearance at the ABS-CBN morning program Magandang Buhay, Joshua Garcia narrated how he auditioned for PBB and how ABS-CBN TV Production Head Director Laurenti Dyogi discovered him.
According to the young Kapamilya actor, there were more than four thousand people who auditioned for PBB during that time and more than nine hundred auditionees were ahead of him in the line.
Joshua Garcia was with his father when he auditioned for the reality show. They traveled from Batangas to Marikina and stayed in an inexpensive hotel.
Based on the report, the former PBB housemate revealed that when his batch was asked to leave the audition tent, Direk Lauren called him and asked him if he owns the guitar he is holding.
“Sabi ko, ‘Opo sa akin po ito’… Tumugtog ako, kumanta ako,” he said.
Joshua Garcia is really very thankful to Director Lauren Dyogi. According to him, Direk Lauren is the one who discovered him and he is not in showbiz if not because of him.
