Will Jimuel Pacquiao follow his father’s footsteps in boxing?
JIMUEL PACQUIAO – Senator Manny Pacquiao’s eldest son Jimuel Pacquiao made a revelation about his father when it comes to boxing.
Manny ‘Pacman’ Pacquiao is undeniably one of the most prominent and successful boxers not just in the Philippines but in the whole world. He’s blessed with excellent skills that, together with his dedication, has helped him reach the top and take his family out of poverty.
Based on a report, the boxer-turned-politician has five children now with wife Jinkee Pacquiao. The celebrity couple has three sons, Jimuel, Micheal, and Israel, and two daughters, Princess and Queenie.
Currently, the whole family of Sen. Manny Pacquiao is in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to watch his fight tomorrow against Argentinian boxer Lucas Matthysse. As per another report, they are vying for the WBA Welterweight title of the latter.
ABS-CBN News has talked to Jimuel Pacquiao, the eldest of Sen. Manny Pacquiao and Jinkee Pacquiao, in Malaysia. During the interview, Pacman’s son made a revelation about his father regarding boxing.
Based on the report, Jimuel expressed that his father does not want him and any of his siblings to join boxing. He revealed what his father told them about the said sport.
“It hurts daw kapag boxing,” he said.
Based on the report, Jimuel Pacquiao also tried to learn boxing when he was still a kid but Sen. Manny Pacquiao asked him to stop. Currently, the 17-year-old son of Pacman is focusing on his studies as he wanted to take a business course in college. He is also into playing basketball.
Jimuel is part of Hope Christian School’s varsity team in General Santos City and he is hoping to be part of the basketball team of Brent International School Manila when he transfers school. With regards to modeling, Pacman’s son is also willing to try given the opportunity.
Based on the report, Jimuel Pacquiao has not watched the fight of his father live since 2016. The last match that he was able to watch live was Pacman’s third fight against Timothy Bradley.
According to Pacman’s son, the boxing champ is ok now and he is in good shape. He stressed that he is ready for the match.
