Misamis Oriental Chairman Shot By Unidentified Persons
MISAMIS ORIENTAL CHAIRMAN – Barangay Danao Chairman Alfredo Zapanta was shot by unidentified persons in Misamis Oriental, Friday.
Recently, several government officials died after being shot by unidentified persons. It has undeniably alarmed the people as it happened in a series.
Based on a report, the families of Tanauan City, Batangas Mayor Antonio Halili; General Tinio, Nueva Ecija Mayor Ferdinand Bote; Trece Martires, Cavite Vice Mayor Alex Lubigan; and Tawi-Tawi town Vice Mayor Al-Rashid Mohammad Ali want justice over the politicians’ deaths.
Recently, another public servant lost his life after being shot by unidentified persons.
Based on a recent report on Rappler, Jasaan, Misamis Oriental Chairman Alfredo Zapanta is the latest in the series of government officials who were shot by unidentified persons.
Police Regional Office 10 spokesperson Superintendent Surki Sereñas expressed that Chairman Zapanta of Barangay Danao was shot by unidentified persons at 5:40 in the morning today.
According to the PRO 10 spokesman, the Misamis Oriental Chairman was rushed to the hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
