Coco Martin Stresses He Also Came From GMA-7

COCO MARTIN – FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano actor Coco Martin who was also a Kapuso before revealed the treatment of GMA-7 network to him.

In the field of showbiz, it is not unusual for a star to switch networks somewhere in their career. Some do it to seek other opportunities and to be able to enhance their acting skills more by working with new people.

One of those who have switched networks somewhere in his career as an actor is Coco Martin. Based on a report, he is currently a Kapamilya and is top-billing the hit primetime action television series FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano. The series is approaching its third year on TV this September.

In Ang Probinsyano, Coco Martin works with Susan Roces, Yassi Pressman, Long Mejia, Joel Torre, Jaime Fabregas, Awra Briguela, Lito Lapid, Michael de Mesa, Angel Aquino, and Jobert Austria among others.

Based on a recent report on Pep, Coco Martin was also a Kapuso before. He was part of the all-male group The Studs which was introduced in 2008.

At the launching of his second TV commercial being the endorser of Sarsaya of Ajinomoto, the now-Kapamilya actor admitted that he is hoping to make a guest appearance on the GMA-7 noontime variety show Eat Bulaga! for the promotion of his upcoming film Popoy En Jack: The Puliscredibles.

In the said upcoming movie, Coco Martin will be working with Kapuso actor Vic Sotto. It is one of the entries for the Metro Manila Film Festival 2018.

“Sana. Nag guest na ako dati doon. Hindi ko naman pinagkakaila na nanggaling rin naman ako sa kabilang network,” he said.

Based on the report, Coco Martin expressed that he started with GMA-7 but it was really the ABS-CBN which gave him a break in his career. Meanwhile, he added that the Kapuso network is kind to him and there is no problem.
