ABS-CBN Breaks Silence on Rumors that ‘Ang Probinsyano’ is Ending Soon
ANG PROBINSYANO – The ABS-CBN released a statement over the rumors that the primetime action television series FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano is scheduled to air its final episode soon.
The Kapamilya TV series FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano is undeniably among the shows that have continuously hook viewers for years already. It is among the longest running TV series in the showbiz industry. Based on a report, previously, there were speculations that its airing will continue until 2019.
FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano is top-billed by Kapamilya actor Coco Martin. Other casts of the TV series include Susan Roces, Yassi Pressman, Joel Torre, Jaime Fabregas, Malou Crisologo, John Prats, Awra Briguela, Lester Llansang, Angel Aquino, Lito Lapid, John Arcilla, Michael de Mesa, and Jhong Hilario.
Recently, Rowell Santiago, Dawn Zulueta, Edu Manzano, Alice Dixson, JC Santos, Ryza Cenon, Francis Magundayao, and Heart Ramos joined the casts of Ang Probinsyano.
Currently, the show centers on Coco Martin’s role Ricardo Dalisay trying to win his wife Alyana Arevalo (Yassi Pressman) back. On the other side, the group of Dalisay is being accused of the things done by the group of Homer Adlawan (Jhong Hilario).
The parents of Alyana and as well as Marco Cabrera (JC Santos) are worried as they do not know where she is. Marco suspects that the family of Cardo and Alyana’s parents are keeping her from him.
Amid the viewers rooting for the reunion of Cardo and Alyana, there are rumors that Ang Probinsyano is scheduled to end soon to give way to the teleserye comeback of Judy Anne Santos.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the Kapamilya network recently gave a statement and put down the rumors.
“There is no truth to the rumor that ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’ is scheduled to end soon. Coco Martin and the show’s writers are enjoying the process of coming up with creative ideas to make the story more compelling, as well as collaborating with the cast and the production team,” the ABS-CBN reportedly stated.
According to the network, Ang Probinsyano continues to enjoy “high viewership” every night and the viewers can expect new characters to join the show and new twists as it approaches its third year. The TV series is on its third year of airing in September.
