Lepto Outbreak Declared By DOH In These Following Areas
The Department of Health (DOH) has declared a Lepto outbreak or leptospirosis outbreak in different areas in Metro Manila.
The health department is now closely monitoring the ‘leptospirosis’ cases in the Philippines affecting the health of the Filipino people.
Over the past few weeks, about 1, 040 cases of leptospirosis have been recorded throughout the country wherein 93 of the victims died.
DOH Secretary Francisco Duque declared a leptospirosis outbreak on some areas in Metro Manila due to the increasing number of victims.
