What prevents Pops Fernandez from getting back to her showbiz career?
POPS FERNANDEZ – Actress-singer Pops Fernandez revealed one of the reasons that prevent her from getting back to her showbiz career.
Concert Queen Pops Fernandez is undeniably one of the Pinay singers that have left a mark in the singing industry in the Philippines. Based on a report, she has released more than 15 albums including a collaboration with her former husband Martin Nievera.
Martin, the Philippine singing industry’s Concert King, has two sons with Pops – Robin and Ram. However, the two celebrities separated and their marriage got annulled in 2000.
Meanwhile, Pops Fernandez and Martin Nievera are in good terms now. She has even met and is close to the young son of her former husband.
Martin Nievera and Pops Fernandez are among the in-demand artists not only in the Philippines but as well as abroad. Meanwhile, it has been a while since the crowd last saw the Concert Queen performing on the stage.
Based on a report in Philippines’ Ultimate Showbiz Hub (PUSH), Pops is now into business. She and her business partner Vina Morales recently opened their new business, the Beautyzone.
According to Pops, she is so thankful. She admitted that she misses performing but she really has to focus on her business now. She also revealed one of the reasons that prevent her from getting back to her showbiz career.
“Parang ninenerbyos kasi ako to come up with an anniversary show e this is the truth, lalo na at hindi na ako nakikita sa TV. Sino naman ang manunuod sa akin?” she revealed.
Based on the report, Pops Fernandez admitted that she is anxious that there may be a pressure in inviting the people to watch her concert. With regards to the young singers now, she is impressed by them. Meanwhile, she stressed that those of her generation also don’t get left behind.
““Ang gagaling nila sobra grabe… Of course hindi pa din magpapahuli ang mga ka era ko no na lumalaban pa din,” she expressed.
Pops Fernandez also said that it is nice to see the Pinoy talents with confidence and style. She feels proud to see their talents whether they are new in the industry or not.
