ABS-CBN Issues Statement Over Rumors That They Turned Down John Lloyd Cruz’s Request

JOHN LLOYD CRUZ – The ABS-CBN network broke its silence on the rumors that they turned down the request of Kapamilya actor John Lloyd Cruz to get back to work.

It was in October 2017 when actor John Lloyd Cruz decided to take an indefinite leave from showbiz. During that time, he has an ongoing situational comedy show with actress-singer Toni Gonzaga, Home Sweetie Home.

After reports about his indefinite leave broke out, John Lloyd was spotted with actress Ellen Adarna having a tour on several beautiful places outside the country. Based on a report, their relationship’s surrounded by intrigues. They are rumored to become parents to their eldest soon.

Aside from the controversies surrounding their relationship, John Lloyd Cruz’s girlfriend Ellen Adarna is currently facing charges over the “PAP” issue involving a minor as per a report.

The parents of the minor took a legal action after Ellen Adarna failed to make a public apology after “PAP” accusation against their daughter. John Lloyd Cruz was the one who attended the preliminary hearing but it was rescheduled.

Recently, there are rumors that John Lloyd requested the ABS-CBN that he will get back to work but the Kapamilya network allegedly turned down his request. Based on a report, Integrated Corporate Communications Head Kane Errol Choa recently sent a statement to PEP.ph.

In the statement, it is stated that the rumors about the ABS-CBN turning down the request of John Lloyd Cruz to return to work are not true as the actor is still on an indefinite leave.

“ABS-CBN value its strong relationship with John Lloyd built through the years,” the statement reads based on the report.

Furthermore, it is stated in the statement that the doors of ABS-CBN will always be open for John Lloyd Cruz and the actor will always be a Kapamilya.
