ABS-CBN finally breaks their silence about the rumors involving John Lloyd.
JOHN LLOYD – The media giant ABS-CBN network finally speaks up on rumors about John Lloyd’s comeback projects following his indefinite leave of absence.
Based on a previous article, the A-list Kapamilya actor John Lloyd Cruz has filed an indefinite leave of absence last October 2017.
The reason cited is that the actor is taking a break to attend to his personal matters.
The official statement from the giant network states, “John Lloyd will be taking a break outside the country and will return to ABS-CBN after his leave of absence.”
This has saddened the massive fans and legions of his avid supporters.
And after 8 months of being on hiatus, there had been speculations that the actor is coming back to work again.
In a published article, there had been blind items which obviously talks about the actor. The first blind item states that a certain actor was begging his network to give him a project.
The second one indicates that the network allowed the actor to have a project again only that he has to wait for five months first before returning to shoot.
And recently, with all the rumors linking the Kapamilya network and Cruz, the media giant finally speaks up to clear the issue.
In a report from PUSH, the official statement of the network through ABS-CBN’s Corporate Communications Head Kane Errol Choa with regards to the matter stated:
“There is no truth to reports that John Lloyd Cruz approached ABS-CBN to request that he return to work, and that the network turned him down. John Lloyd is still on an indefinite leave to attend to personal matters. ABS-CBN values its strong relationship with John Lloyd built through the years. ABS-CBN’s doors are always open to John Lloyd, and he will always be a Kapamilya.”
