Will James Yap run for a seat in politics?
JAMES YAP – Professional basketball player James Yap is rumored to enter the field of politics by running for a seat in San Juan.
James Yap or James Carlos Yap Sr. in real-life is known as a basketball player, former partner of actress Kris Aquino, and father of her youngest son Bimby. James and Kris have separated and their son is living with his mom.
It is no secret to the public that James and Bimby’s relationship is not okay. Based on a report, the latter’s mother has previously expressed openness on the possible reconciliation between the father and son.
As per another report, James Yap is currently in a relationship with Michela Cazzola. They have a son nicknamed MJ and they are currently expecting their second baby.

Based on a report in Bandera, recently, there are rumors that James Yap will enter the field of politics soon. The professional basketball player is rumored to run as a Vice Mayor in San Juan.

Bimby’s father is also rumored to run against the party of the Ejercitos. Former Philippine President and now Manila Mayor Joseph ‘Erap’ Estrada’s son Senator JV Ejercito has served as the Mayor of San Juan from 2001-2010.
According to the report, Vice Mayor Janella Ejercito is rumored to run for Mayor in the next election as Mayor Guia Gomez’s is about to complete her three terms in service. Gomez is the mother of Sen. JV Ejercito.

With regards to the candidate for the position of Vice Mayor under the party of the Ejercitos, no possible name has crossed the surface yet.
James Yap has yet to make a statement regarding the rumors that he is planning to run for Vice Mayor in San Juan.
