It is no secret to many people that young actor Jerome Ponce came from a broken family. Despite the struggles, he visibly persevered in his chosen craft and was able to make a name in the field of show business.
Jerome is undeniably one of the prominent young actors now who has done lots of hit projects. Based on a report, he rose to fame when he was chosen to play the role of Luke Andrew Lim in the ABS-CBN television series Be Careful with My Heart which is top-billed by Richard Yap and Jodi Sta. Maria.
Another hit project that Jerome Ponce was a part of is the TV series The Good Son which he top-billed together with young Kapamilya actors Joshua Garcia, McCoy de Leon, and Nash Aguas.

According to a report, Jerome Ponce has a new movie together with Elmo Magalona, Donny Pangilinan, and Kiko Estrada. The film entitled Walwal is directed by filmmaker Joey Reyes.
In the movie, Jerome plays the role of Intoy who deals with family problems. During an interview with Philippines’ Ultimate Showbiz Hub (PUSH), the young actor admitted that he can relate to his character.
“Siyempre importante yung pinagdaanan sa pamilya. I mean, hindi naman nangyayari sa kasalukuyan, pero nagagamit ko pa rin yon kahit tapos na. Naa-apply mo talaga ang hugot at karga sa iskrip na parang totoong nangyayari,” he said.

Based on the report, when asked about his relationship with his family now, Jerome Ponce expressed that they are okay now for quite a while already. According to him, they have problems and misunderstandings before but they are able to fix it as they talk.
The young Kapamilya actor also makes sure that he gets to spend time with his family. He was also with them during his recent birthday and his sibling “Omboy” is usually at his house when there’s no class.
“Kapag may time ako at walang trabaho I see to it na nakakasama ko sila at nagba-bonding kami,” he said according to the report.
Meanwhile, when asked if he has still no plans to build a family of his own with his girlfriend Mika Reyes, Jerome Ponce responded that there is still no plan and they are still very young.
“Parang hindi pa marrying age. Gusto ko pang magwalwal,” the young actor jested.
Jerome Ponce is in a relationship with prominent volleyball player Mika Reyes for quite a while already. It was in the ABS-CBN Sunday show ASAP when they first met.
