PAGASA Issues Orange Rainfall Warning In These Following Areas

The state weather bureau PAGASA has issued an orange rainfall warning and other related warnings in some parts of the country.

On Saturday (June 16, 2018), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) raised an orange rainfall warning in some parts of the country.

PAGASA raised an orange or Heavy Rainfall Warning No. 1 over Batangas, Cavite, and Bataan because of possible threatening flash floods.

An orange warning indicates that 15-30mm intense rain for about an hour or might last for the next two hours.

The weather agency has also advised the residents to be alert for possible evacuation because of the heavy rain.

A yellow warning has been also raised over Metro Manila, Bulacan, Pampanga, and Zambales because of possible flooding in low-lying areas.

Rizal, Laguna, Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, and northern Quezon would have light to moderate with occasional heavy rains.
