In a previous report, the Gilas Pilipinas 2023 cadet Ricci Rivero was recorded in a video shouting at a female fan asking for a photo with him while he is on his way to the dugout area.

This was after he lost against his former team De La Salle Green Archers in the Filoil Preseason Cup last April 27. The video which has lasted for several seconds received various reactions from the people.

Watch it below:

As seen on the clip, he was seemingly angry after his defeat against his former team which disabled him to hide his frustration.

After the shout, he was able to utter an apology and a very brief explanation. He then went to a cross hanged on the wall and bowed his head.

“I had a bad game. It was a frustrating loss. This was during my first game out of and against La Salle,” he wrote.

The Tweet further read: “Dugouts are our only private place to pour our emotions seconds after an important game, ’twas just the most inappropriate time and place for a selfie. Hence, I still own up to this unacceptable behavior. To the girl in the video and to all that are affected and disappointed, I am a work in progress and I sincerely apologize for my imperfections. Thank You po.”
